Mindful minimalism with Urbanara

So happy to be able to show you some of my recent work for Urbanara! I created it under the working title of „Mindful Minimalism“. I absolutely agree with Urbanara`s philosophy to use materials of extremely good quality and combine it with a classic design. Products like these are made for a lifetime and therefore help us to live as sustainable as possible.

Also it refers to my thoughts I already expressed here. If we chose everyday items that have great materials and design they immediately become part ot the decoration. We can stop buying lots of additional accessoires and in consequence we need less things.

I think with these images I`ve created for Urbanara it gets clear that all these beautiful colours and different textures of linen, alpaca, stoneware, marble, brass, cashmere&wool are already creating a tremendously warm and pretty atmosphere. They decorate the space extremely well! Just add a little branch in a small vase or lit a candle and voilà – your home looks gorgeous and cosy!

On Urbanara`s page you can read a little story about “Mindful Minimalism”. It`s such a smart little essay about the refreshing and satisfiying effect to identify what we actually need in our lives. It also contains a little interview with me. I talk about our approach to minimalize our belongings (as a family) and share some tips to avoid mis-buys.

Last thing: The images in the bedroom and living room are shot in my new studio! Everything is finally coming together here and I am so happy. How do you like it!??
